  Overrated. Changed rooms four times due to various issues ranging from poor AC to foul smell. Took forever to clean room every day. Baraka restaurant in hotel was awful. Very salty food and our first two glasses of wine were more like vinegar. So yes overpriced for what you get.

  The hotel is in a quiet residential area near the sea. Nearest supermarket is one mile away. The rooms are impressive and spacious with very large high quality beds and pillows (there is a pillow menu too). Bathrooms are spacious with big tubs and rainfall shower. Large TV too which allows USB connections. We arrived in Feb where it is off peak so it was very quiet with very few guests which suited us fine. Service was good but a bit slow at times which is probably a cultural thing. Food variety could be better but one of the restaurants was closed as it was off season. The hotels beach club half a mile away is well worth a visit for the spa and restaurant.

  The room we had was lovely, we had a sea view and plenty of space in the bedroom. No prices for the minibar so we weren’t sure if it was included or not, but we avoided it just in case.
