The rooms were smelly and rotten , especially when you enter late at night . During the day all rooms next to the pool are noisy too . I complained about the smell for TWO CONSECUTIVE DAYS. It was unbearable, it smelled SEWAGE , not only inside but around the block . They send their technical team "on the third day "to fix the bathrooms, but the smell was coming from the air conditioner. The last day before my checkout they offered me , as a compensation, another room and a lunch at their Sea Grill restaurant, but it was too late late since I was packing , and second the problem wasn't just in my rooms, it was the whole block smelling.

FIRST LESSON: DON'T TRUST THEIR RECEPTIONIST BECAUSE SHE WILL TRY TO GIVE YOU THE RUBBISH THEY HAVE FIRST.

The most beautiful hotel in Marbella, great location and access to the sea and very close to Puerto Banus shops.

SECOND LESSON: THE PUENTE ROMANO HOTEL IS ONLY GOOD FOR HANGING OUT, SPECIFICALLY IN THE FOOD COURT AREA, CLOSE TO THE RECEPTION. THE AREA FAR FROM THE RECEPTION , CLOSE TO THE POOLS, IS SMELLY , NOISY FROM THE OUTSIDE AND FROM THE INSIDE.

THIRD LESSON: IF YOU EVER DECIDE TO BOOK THERE, DON'T EVER ACCEPT THAT THEY GIVE YOU ROOMS CLOSE TO ANY POOL THEY HAVE.

Loved the ambience in the open courtyard area. Enjoyed a delicious Thai meal. Would recommend

A lady from the Guest Relations Department came to us the last day to apologize, promising to offer us some kind of compensation, after returning back to her management, but it was too late . Our vacation was ruined. At the checkout they asked me to leave my mail address so that , the same " Management Team " would return to me , at least to apologize for this terrible experience that I had to go through , with my wife and my four kids , but no one bothered to call ...

Not the kind of place I'd normally opt for but have to say it was extremely impressive. If you are a couple looking for a relaxing get away it would ideal. Wasted on children.

FINAL LESSON:THIS HOTEL IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY YOU PAY FOR.

We booked four nights at a so called , one of the best hotel in Marbella , and paid close to €2000 per night for two connecting rooms . I insisted at the check in , to have at least two of their renovated rooms , because I've heard , unfortunately, after making my reservation, from friends who were at the same hotel that a major part of the hotel is unbearable to stay in . The lady at the check in insisted to give me the two rooms close to Kids pool ( far from the reception)in one of their old blocks. She pretended that the hotel was fully booked, only to find out from another family who joined us much later , coming from Lisbon that they were given two rooms available in the renovated block.
